My friends and I took a little mini road trip to Monterey Bay, CA- which is about 2.5 hours south of San Francisco. For dinner we went to Schooners Coastal Kitchen in the Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa on Cannery Row. The view was unbelievable, I wish I could have taken a picture but I would have had to climb on the tables… so you can see that wasn’t an option.
I must say the bread basket was lovely with the garlic & olive oil goodness dip.
Wasn’t in the mood for an appitizer so just wanted for my main course- Crab & Artichoke Baked Petrale Sole prepared with caramelized Fennel Risotto, Grapefruit Beurre Blanc. *Insert thumbs up*
Now the only picture I did get from this evening was of dessert. Mint Chocolate Chip Mud Pie with an oreo cookie crust and hot fudge. Need I say more?
All accompanied a bottle… or two… okay let’s be real three bottles of Veuve Clicquot. So there’s that.
